It's a weird feeling uploading these photos. A mixture of pride but also intense fear have been the main lingering emotions whilst I look at my completely naked state in its raw form....
Look how wonky the neck is and how jagged all the edges are 😅 STILL. I'm proud considering I had noone to show me and just kinda winged it myself! Rufus is obviously so interested haha. I'm thinking she's gonna go up on my wall.

Oh ma gaaaad, it took me SO long to dry out the hide on this final step!
So. Lessons learnt ~
Just a wee clip of me on the near-final stage of preserving the deer hide back in January!
Quality is such balls but this was just a little first attempt, fairly late at night and with nowhere good to prop my phone in the shed/no decent lighting.... next time will definitely be better!&nbs...
I love the juxtaposition of these! It just goes to show that with skilled photography how one setting can invoke two completely different moods. Bryony has perfectly captured a playful, almost innocent colourful aesthetic for the first one, yet the second shows such a darker, risqué and unapolog...
