Forward to just after Christmas, I joked with a GameStop employee asking for it and he was picking 10 up later that day (but it was hush hush). Went back at a designated time and got it. Patience paid off. Walmart online was selling them all along for double the price - no thanks.

Got it on Walmart.com with literally zero issues except I had to get this bundle which came with earphones & a couple of other things (idek...not a gamer at all ๐ ) but I did pay like $900 for the bundle so ๐คทโโ๏ธ

I think the hackers count on the fact Sonyโs customer support will require you to all but sacrifice a goat to get your acct back so youโd rather just start over. Btw I feel the exact same way about Elden Ring lol

And, supply chain also took a hit on Girl Scout cookies this year - two of the varieties were in low stock due to supply chain!

2022-03-30 18:50:05 +0000 UTCOk, I tried to get a PS5 for many months of legitimately waiting for drops, going in queues, etc etc etc and THE ONLY WAY that worked for me was to join a paid membership to Gamestop, get on the list for pre order / pre drops, and then get a bundle when they drop. Bundles are annoying because youโll probably end up with a game or accessory you donโt want, but after all that waiting I was like fine whatever. I can deal with having this lane baseball game Iโll never play. And it worked twice because I also bought one for my brother a couple months later, so I can vouch for this process.
