2020-12-24 06:58:06 +0000 UTCI didn't even know Bill Skarsgรฅrd played Pennywise - WOW. He did a FANTASTIC job. He was SO CREEPY. Yes, Finn Wolfhard was amazing in this film. He's such a great actor, I love him in Stranger Things. I thought this film was a very good adaptation of the book - I read the book many, many years ago. I never watched the mini-series. Matt, A Nightmare On Elm Street is one of my favorite horror movies of all time (the 1st one). And I didn't even know they had come out with a FIFTH one ๐๐๐. That's hilarious! I stopped watching after the third installment. Although I did watch the remake that came out a few years ago. I look forward to watching Chapter 2. Next up though, sooner that that, is your recommendation - The Invisible Man and Dragon Slayer (Joe Niedbala recommended this). Happy holidays, Matt ๐๐ผโค๐คโ
2020-12-24 06:48:02 +0000 UTCIt Chapter One was amazing I loved the characters, the young cast, the writing, the directing and the story. I thought Bill Skarsgรฅrd did an incredible job as Pennywise. He was terrifying and believable. He crushed it on his performance. The younger cast had a great chemistry and very well acted. My favorite character is Richie played by Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things. He outshined everyone in my opinion. Overall, the movie was amazing I thought it was great adaptation from the Stephen King novel. Itโs definitely better than the mini-series in my opinion. Definitely check out IT Chapter Two itโs the final chapter of this story. And it focuses on the adult characters of The Losers Club. And also the Nightmare on Elm Street 5 Easter egg. That movie came out in 1989 and IT Chapter One takes place in the same year.
