2025-09-21 14:05:07 +0000 UTCQuark episodes are always good, like it's a mixture of Quark just being a really fun character in any scenario you put him in, and Armin Shimerman being a fantastic actor. DS9 made the Ferengi one of the best species in the whole franchise honestly (it helps that DS9 actually fully fleshes them out as a culture unlike TNG). like, Ferengi are awful, but there's just something entertaining in how unrepentantly greedy and selfish they are, I mean they just revel in it to the point Quark congratulates Rom for trying to murder him lol, it's just so shameless that I can't not love it. Jake and Nog is also a really good developing friendship, they both become fantastic characters as the series goes on.
