Meanwhile Lena just thinks Kara is some beefcake alpha jerk, and she's actually a spaz. ☺️ I would have liked to write an extended conflict between them with pining that mounts torturously. What can I say, I like it when they don't communicate well and fight while they secretly have a thing for each other. Lena totally fits that description and 😁😁 Yesss to verbal destruction. I re-watch those scenes for a lot of my enemies to lovers stuff, and for Best of Both Worlds. 😂 THANK YOU!

Oh my GOD the way I fucking cackled at Kara’s terrible pick up lines. You just know Kara was screaming internally the moment it came out of her mouth too 😂😂. And then just so spend their time employed together essentially being tortured Kara’s just doing her fucking best over here with what little she can! It’s not her fault she’s horny for mean and pretty girls!! And Lena fits both to a T!! A little bit of pettiness to survive is understandable in my book. As always Lena being this close to killing a person with sass and sneer is just *chefs kiss*. Really loved their back and forth in this. Really reminded me of the “I don’t think of you when I do [science]” line from Canon honestly. Great great stuff. Always worth the wait 🥰
