Ally McBeal S03E15 - Prime Suspect FULL REACTION

1. Big girls keep on turning??? HA! Yeah pretty sure those aren't the lyrics 2. I think the revival should not be about Renée's daughter ...IF she even has one ...I legit don't remember enough of her character and even IF I did I wouldn't be able to say ...To me she's a side-character ...She hasn't been in several of the latest episodes either ...They could still have a revival and NOT. have it be a relative of any of this shows characters though ...Some girl fresh out of law school applies for a job at Cage & Fish where perhaps some of the old school characters still work in some function ...Maybe the revival would still have the name Ally McBeal attached to it's title but just to signify it takes place in the same world ...I mean.. It's not unheard of to have sequel shows or spin-offs or whatever you want to call it that have the same name in it's title as the previous show but don't neccesarily have the same characters in it or any for that matter ...Although yeah... It WOULD be kinda weird to call it Ally McBeal and NOT. have Ally in it ...It's different from say Star Trek or Stargate ....It's a name rather than an object or whatever ...It sets expectation 3. It's odd that this episode is dealing with people claiming this person with tourettes is a weirdo ....You asked if people in the 90ies didn't know what tourettes was... Tourettes was named after a person with the last name "Tourettes" back in 1885 ..I'll spare you the chore of having to pronounce their French names ....Studies were done since then ...In 1972 they advanced the argument that's it's more of a neurological rather than a psychological disorder and since the early 90's it was more accepted as being a thing in society ....The creators of this show took something THEY though would be funny and in the process ridiculed an entire group of people suffering from this affliction 4. Lemme just help you out here Froots... Dude said he went to the movies with some guy called Benny .....I meaaaaaaannn... YEAH! If this is true then OBVIOUSLY he has an alibi and a witness (potentially a BUNCH. of witnesses) to verify his claim that he didn't kill his boss 5. Yeeeeaaahh.. Billy hasn't changed a goddamn bit... He hallucinates this woman and just goes up saying she's the most beautiful woman he's ever seen ....Meanwhile I'm sitting here hoping his girlfriend (who obviously has issues herself but that's besides the point) overheard that shit ...added later... HA! Serves you right ....I really hope she breaks up with him 6. .....Ok... So dude lied about going to the movies ...Still ...There's GOT. to be some people who can testify that he didn't kill the boss ....Unless he actually DID do it ofcourse ...But why would such an innocent looking guy have done this?? .....OOOOOOHHH!!! Unless he's faking his condition.... Man I would LOVE. to see such a case ...Imagine... Him being on the stand and all of a sudden there's a COMPLETE. shift in character ...He goes from innocent tourretes guy to total sociopath ....Man I love those kindsa twists 7. Sure Billy... Let's sweep your bad character traits under the rug by claiming it's probably part of this neurological thing you're suffering from... Nah man... You're just a dick with a tumor 8. Ok PAUSE..... Seriously!?! Get Ally out of that courtroom... This is the 2nd time she's screamed for NO valid reason whatsoever... She doesn't serve a purpose in this case AT. ALL. and is ONLY. there for some sort of attempt at humour by the writers of the show ...She's honestly just being cringey ....This is a murder case ...How about we don't do this and maybe just say we did? ......YUP.. Same thought Froots 9. I looked a bit into this cause I was curious too... In Ally's case ...One person could potentially record another person in secret and use that recording in court ...HOWEVER... The recording would have to still make it through getting authenticated to make sure it wasn't tampered with... I'm sure that at the time this episode aired it was more difficult to do such a thing ....I'm NOT. so sure this would still be allowed as evidence in todays world however since we've got creepers using A.I. software with which they can fake anyones voice nowadays 10. That said... I'm unsure Ally would be allowed to do this though... She... For some reason... Also represents the defendant ...I feel this would be against some kind of law ..Or at least I think it should ....My opinion is such a recording should come from a 3rd party that's not affiliated to either side of the case unless they belong to law enforcement (Police.. NOT Lawyers) 11. Ok and now Ally punched Caroline's Mum ...In which case I think Caroline's Mum and her girlfriend could probably have this secret recording be thrown out as evidence ...I mean sure John and Richard heard the whole conversation too but they work WITH Ally ...I don't think they should be legally allowed to use that recording now ....But... This IS. Ally McBigmac soooooo... Case closed
