was a bit cringey to hear yall misunderstand this so aggressively. The point is that the argument against billionaires exists across racial lines. Their wealth does not โtrickle down.โ Itโs hoarding and does little to absolutely nothing to advance the position of Black folks overall. Being rich enough to put a few people on when he has enough wealth to redistribute to bring ENTIRE communities up (including his former own) isnโt the flex he thinks it is. Itโs also worth noting that capitalism quite literally necessitates the suffering of Black and brown people (esp in the global south). With such a large platform, Iโm disappointed in how carelessly yโall handled this topic. You donโt have to agree of course, but there seems to have been little effort put into actually understanding.
