Updating the Patreon/New Videos

Hey there, everyone! I just wanted to give you all an update on the state of this Patreon, along with some future projects I'm working on.

First off, new videos. I'm working on a couple potential long video series (think FMA, but . . . well, maybe not THAT long.) Additionally, I've been working on some shorter, one-off topics. It's honestly been super satisfying to write a script within 1 to 3 days, and then get to editing. Currently, the main video I have in the works is a 30ish minute long video on the end of Attack on Titan. My plan is to have that released in early to mid-December.  However, before that, I will be releasing some shorter stuff.

Second, updating the Patreon. I've decided to create new tiers with a variety of new  rewards. I want to make this Patreon more of a staple of the channel, and I feel like that's the best way to go about it. The new information should be updated later today, but I'll give a brief rundown of it here as well:

TIER ONE ($1)
- access to any and all Patreon updates
- your name at the end of each of each of my big boy videos

TIER TWO ($5)
- a copy of the scripts and notes for all future videos
- access to polls where you can (sometimes) decide which topic I cover next

TIER THREE ($10)
- audio-only files for each of my future big boy videos (I'll also include the FMA series in this); a good way to be able to listen to some of this stuff while you're on-the-go, if that's the sort of thing you're into
- uncut versions of all future livestreams (and some past ones, too, which I'm going to update)
- ask questions that may be answered at the end of my big boy videos

In addition, I have some stretch goals, baby!

STRETCH GOAL #1: $800

I will start making short, Patreon-exclusive videos that either wouldn’t fit in with my regular YouTube content or would get demonetized. I will aim for one of these a month and they will be approximately 5 minutes in length. All Patrons will gain access to these videos when we reach this stretch goal.

STRETCH GOAL #2: $1400

I will create some sort of long series on the entirety of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I already have some ideas for it, but I've made it a stretch goal because VIACOM, the company that owns Avatar, has developed a fun habit of copyright claiming these videos. At this amount, getting demonetized wouldn’t matter though. I’ll have the freedom to talk about this series and others like it without worrying about companies stealing money because, well, you’ll have taken care of the financial part of things. In short - this tier will allow me to make big boy videos on stuff that would normally get demonetized (including Avatar, but also other properties too!).


STRETCH GOAL #3: $2000

I will begin making a podcast focused on discussing movies that Patrons vote for. This will happen at least once a month, and my goal will be to get guests on to keep things fresh. I will also make Patreon-exclusive bonus episodes.


As always though, thank you for your support. It's incredibly motivating, and a huge part of why I'm even able to make massive series like the FMA one in the first place :)
