2024-11-16 16:59:09 +0000 UTCHe had been promoted from temp to full time a while ago. There was that scene when they thought the branch was closing where he said he got his new business cards. And in the Merger when he wouldnโt give Jim his seat back. But I do think youโre right about the teaser, Ryan knew he was in serious contention and ready to make a change.

2024-11-16 16:45:49 +0000 UTCHad to bite my tongue but was super impressed you called it in last episode that the open job was Janโs position! As for Ryan, maybe the degree titles are different in the UK, but when David said in the phone โitโll be nice to have another MBA around hereโ that implies that Ryan has graduated from school with a Masters degree in Business Administration. We donโt know much of what heโs done at the office except argue with Kelly (who is another writer on the show) but on paper Ryan has the credentials for a corporate position.

2024-11-16 16:41:50 +0000 UTCWhen Michael told Ryan to go get him some coffee and Ryan said he didn't do that stuff anymore it was a slick little teaser about his promotion and not being a temp anymore.
