2024-05-23 03:35:06 +0000 UTCI respect and agree with Derays opinion. I get what he's trying to say in that he's not trying to say the song is bad, but it could be better. I like the track, it's a great message, but with Cole being one of the more introspective rappers out there, he definitely could have came with more. I wouldn't call it "mid", per se, because that label is not accurate imho. It's better than mid, but it had so much room to grow.

The couple of songs Iโve heard so far on his latest project feel authentic he address things and thatโs part of healing, and thatโs what I personally would really like to see from him as an artist growth, maturity, accountability. Iโm not saying become a saint over night just make better moves.
